It’s impossible to hide the name of this brand from you because for practical reasons the title says it all but if I didn’t know better I would never have guessed this new collection of homeware featuring iridescent antiqued dishes, speckled cast iron kitchen accessories – and pretty vintage floral cushions were from Danish brand Ferm Living who are known for their colour pop homeware and bold geometric patterns. It’s different, its earthy and elemental and I love it.
The new collection titled Scenes of Splendour is inspired by the French salons of the 19th century but with a Nordic twist. The Salon Cushions in unusual colour combinations draw from decadent vintage patterns and are made from an eclectic array of fashion textiles. The Coupled Candle Holders and Trays are a modern twist on the glittering Venetian antiqued mirror and my favourite – the new Ripple Champagne glasses are a pared back take on the traditional champagne coupe.
