Scandinavian Style at M&S

As the nights draw in quicker each day and we hurry home to hunker down for the evenings, we might consider taking our cue from the Scandinavians who use clean silhouettes and lighter tones to combat the darkness. Anyone who reads my blog regularly will know I have a very soft spot for high street homewares – one of my favourites is of course M&S whose designs for the home get more beautiful and affordable by the day.

M&S’s new Autumn Collection is peppered with great Scandinavian inspired finds pairing simple and luxurious materials, great textures like this gorgeous chunky Pom Pom Throw – and flashes of warm metals like this sleek Copper Curve Floor Lamp [don’t miss the marble base!]

Head over to M&S Style and Living for more ideas and inspiration on how to bring scandi style into your home.

As it comes to the aesthetic of scandinavian design I bumped on Fine Little Day store lately and totally felt in love with the stuff they have. I know their on the market for a while right know, but still I’m proud with my discovery

I love the Scandinavian design! I see a lot of interior of rental apartments in Rotterdam, and they could use a lot more Scandivian stuff if you ask me. Next to IKEA of course 😉
