Gretel is a beautiful new online store set up by British Stylist Abby Kellet. As the UK interiors industry is so small I was racking my brain trying to recall her face, and then I remembered – I assisted her on my very first day of work experience on a shoot many moons ago, and that too on her very first shoot! So it is a small world indeed.

Gretel is based in Florida, and I know I’ve vowed to focus on European brands, but it’s such a joy to see fellow British stylists doing wonderful things that I really wanted to highlight her work.

As you can see the whole online store is styled amazingly, like a quirky and style conscious version of Hansel and Gretel’s chalet. Gretel also carries the most unique wares… below you can see the exquisite Marie Antoinetta porcelain bowls, sweet Smokehouse incense burner, Danish clay bowls, and  ethereal coloured glassware.

Finally I wanted to share a few things I have been working on with the lovely Laura Edwards. We were playing about with the idea of the aftermath of a delicate afternoon tea in the dwindling Autumn light.

I’m really happy with the images, hope you all like them too – see the rest of what we got up to in the ‘New’ section here.

Happy 5th November everyone! I do love this time of year, strange though isn’t it how this brisk cold season is embraced for ‘outdoorsy’ behaviour? I will hopefully be indulging in some bonfires and nightime walks to whatever our neighbourhood has going on this weekend. It’s the poor doggies I end up feeling sorry for however, petrified of all the loud sounds in the night air : (

Today we have a great Day With…Louisa Taylor, I am such a fan of her ceramics that it was truly an honour to be able to see her at work. I take a look at some incredibly enticing book designs and up next a glimpse into one of the most charming shops in London.

Oh and the image above is a peek from a day of styling with Laura Edwards earlier this month – check in at the end of the day to see more!
