Since in my opinion Spring has officially sprung [I'm not taking no for an answer] and I’ve been working on some summer issues lately, I thought I’d share a gorgeous new find with you that is sure to make your spring a brighter one.

We’re all familiar with the iconic folding bistro and cafe chairs created at the end of the 19th century, these have proved to be one of the most versatile garden furniture styles and the interiors market is full of it’s variants.

Well, super chic French company Fermob have given the bistro chair a fabulous makeover – updating it with an ever so slightly more modern look and making it available in every colour you could ever wish for! 24 delightful colours to be precise… from storm grey to nutmeg, garnet to carrot and wisteria to apple… they chairs are also available with a choice of 10 styles of bistro tables.

I also think Sparrow and Finch’s  raised mini gardens are such a great idea for city gardens and smaller spaces. Perfect!

Sky Planter

Wow, right? This is not some kooky art installation, but a very practical design by ceramics studio Boskke.

The Sky Planter, allows you for the first time to grow plants upside down in a space saving solution! Also eco-friendly, each ceramic pot houses a simple internal reservoir system to feed water directly to the roots, ensuring little water wastage. A twist and lock lid [slid around the mouth of the planter] keeps in the soil and stops drips.

I just love the idea that you can have plants surrounding you from above, taking up no surface area, just like a jungle in the sky!

Ceramic Sky Planters come in white and black and in small, medium and large sizes starting from £19.99. Click here for stockists in your area.
