I don’t usually feature too many fashion accessories, but last month I feel in love with Rowena from Red Ruby Rose’s design led clutches, so when she emailed me about her new leather range I couldn’t resist taking a look.

I fell hard, as the butter soft detail of the sumptuous leather and suede clutches were revealed to me, each one lined inside with sublime Dupion silk in plain and bold printed patterns.

Aside from the more subtle range featured below, Rowena has also created a beautiful eclectic collection of printed leather purses such as The Peacock Palace above and her namesake Red Ruby Rose.

When I came across these brooches by Anna Alicia my immediate thought at seeing their sculptural quality was that they were made of ceramic – but on closer inspection each ‘corsage’ is made of felt flowers cut and sewed by hand. I love this idea as it instantly updates any boring item of clothing and is like a little piece of art [and luckily easier to wear than ceramic!] I tend to steer towards subtler colours, but Anna Alicia has an amazing array of on trend colour combinations to make you drool – bright orange and grey, aqua and white, and lovely shades of sage and taupe.
