You could be forgiven for thinking this image is from a ‘Mid-century California’ Pinterest board. The trailing plant and minimal kitchen with retro vibes particularly alludes to this but for me it was those smooth and weighty ceramic storage jars with the lovely oak lids that said “those look just like those elusive and expensive Heath Ceramics jars i’ve been coveting for years!” Just me then?
This is in-fact Sainsbury’s Home new ‘Restoration’ range. Those jars are actually only £6 for a small and £8 for a large and they are just as gorgeous and weighty in real life and stack on top of each other oh so beautifully. Yes, yes, Sainsbury’s sent me some – but as you can imagine my home is so full of stuff I only accept things that really make me swoon.
The rest of the range is just as striking and affordable. Cool utilitarian pieces for the kitchen in monochrome hues, bright white enamelware pans with slick black rims and butcher board chopping boards with industrial metal handles – not to mention beautiful grey blue glazed vintage style dinnerware. You can buy the full collection here . Nice huh?
