You all know i love me a bit of witchy! I’ve been following a few great spooky Instagram accounts for a while from all over the globe – allowing me to indulge in an October vibe all year round. Here are my must follows… expect plenty of references to Practical Magic, Buffy, creepy thrift shop finds, pagan musings, Victorian ephemera, gothic architecture, spooky landscapes and all the other good stuff. There are even some bonafide witchy Instagram handles hailing from ‘Halloween town’ Salem Massachusetts…
Living in Salem MA, frost_oath’s feed is full of iconic Salem burial grounds, misty New England landscapes and gothic architecture. [image above also from her feed]
The instagram of a gothic jewellery maker who’s feed is a modern Victorian take on the occult.
A mesmerising glimpse into the gothic home of an English antiques collector and bibliophile. Exquisite antiques, contemporary gothic art and lots of great visuals from the pages of occult books and ephemera.
I’m a little bit obsessed with the feed of super talented Stepford Wife style LA photographer and baker Christine H McConnell and her love of all things spooky which she bakes onto cakes and styles into interiors! The below image is of her parents house which she decorated this Halloween!
The polaroid-tinted feed of New England illustrator and tattoo artist Bill Crisafi. Ghostly houses, macabre photoshoots in the wilderness and edgy romanticism.
The instagram of super sexy Swedish vegan thistlemilk, expect lots of Vikings and Game of Thrones style imagery of snow, fur, bones, nature and rustic interiors.
With an Etsy store of the same name selling vintage clothes, i just love the Hillbilly, rock and roll vibe of Melissa Semião’s Instagram. Amazing house, tattooed friends, great hair!
Another New England based Instagrammer – Crystal Lee Lucas’s melancholic imagery with superb compositions of atmospheric buildings, interiors landscapes and meaningful vignettes stops me in my tracks each time.
Artist and mixed media photographer Fay Nowitz peppers my feed with luminous crystals, beautifully styled altars and witch fashion.
The Instagram handle of included instagrammer Billsafi’s jewellery label Burial Ground, because you can never have enough New England witchery in your feed!
