How stunning are these designs for Diptique’s new Christmas collection?! Diptique always manage to pull something fabulous out of the bag and these three scents inspired by the Arabian Nights and housed in jewel toned casings with on-trend geometric patterns make them super covetable and a hands-down perfect Christmas gift.
The sapphire cased Oliban is an eponymous tribute to the most mystical material in perfumery, olibanum otherwise known as frankincense. Featuring Italian lemon essence and Somalian incense, fused with myrrh and Javan vetiver with base notes of Peruvian balms and benzoin.
The emerald green ‘Sapin Doré’ or Golden Fir pay tribute to traditional fir needles giving way to the gorgeous green essence of Iranian galbanum, Eucalyptus camphor and peppery Siberian pine, plus a splash of the aromatic essence of Moroccan absinthe.
The ruby red Amber Oud is dense with spices: saffron, fresh ginger, nutmeg, piquant cinnamon and black pepper with accompanying notes of cedar, patchouli, white pear and absinthe.
The limited edition Christmas candles are slightly pricer at £45, but they are larger than their standard size offerings and I can guarantee wholly worth it!
