A simple and chic interior of a Swiss hair salon Nafi in the historic heart of Basel has had its ceiling and walls of its entry zone seamlessly covered with photocopies on packaging paper made from Vogue magazines from the 1920ies until today. The remainder of the salon is minimal and white.
I love this extremely simple and cost effective idea which lends a nostalgic feel to the entrance making the transition from the historical outside street into a modern salon a gradual and clever one. Designed by ZMIK.
