Happy 2010 everyone!!! I have truly had a restful December, the lack of internet in our lives due to shameful broken promises from a certain well-known service provider [Virgin Media] led to a Christmas of back to basics. DVD box sets and copious amounts of food were consumed, good quality family time was had by all, and many lost hours of sleep were accounted for – bliss! How about you all? News please!
However, the thoroughly re-juvinating December leads me into January armed with energy and more ideas than one blog can contain. We have our usual intriguing book reviews and delicious recipes for you to try out – stunning eateries around the world for you to peruse, glimpses into the workdays of creatives and designers and a few new exciting extras that I shall reveal soon enough!
This week our highlights are a day with British illustrator Brooke Woolley, a book review of the excellent true tale of poligamy from The 19th Wife, and an amazing recipe for Coconut Lamb from the best cook in my life – my mummy!
Up next – an interview with the curious Dan Hillier!

See you soon!
Welcome!
