Please don’t hate me but these aren’t edible!!! I know I was disappointed too!
I don’t know where to start with this immensely talented lady… Kima, was born in Barcelona and now lives in Santander, a calm city in northern Spain with her boyfriend and son.
Kima studied graphic design and illustration in the past but but ended up in a completely different line of work, specialized in selling cigars. In 2006 she decided to leave all of it behind and focus on doing the things she has always liked to do, things that make her ‘very happy.’
Under the umbrella of Kup Kup Land [a place full of trees, flowers and fantastic treasures], Kima has pursued and built up an enormous body of work. I really never imagined anyone could create such things out of felt… extreme pendants, Kup Kup inspired pincushions and soft items, oh-soooo adorable brooches, paper/felt collages and if that’s not enough, a new photography venture!
The products you see here are Kima’s buttons and brooches from her mouthwatering Kup Kup Patisserie collection. Never have I been more disappointed not to be able to eat a brooch.
Click here to see Kima’s full body of work, and here to see her blog. I am just so mesmerised and inspired by the world and career Kima has created out of pure passion and love, that it’s easy to believe anyone can succeed if they just take the plunge and carry on…
