Could Bailey’s Home and Garden get any more entrepreneurial this year with their Art Cafe, and now this new venture? Sally and Mark Bailey’s 26-year-old son Ben has just launched his own business, Curious Chocolate.
Inspired by a trip to an old Amsterdam letterpress workshop, Ben Bailey’s chocolate bars come wrapped in graph paper covered with fabulous fonts. I can’t think of anything else that tastes all the better for good packaging than chocolate.
Curious chocolate also produces exquisite nuggets of delight in the form of dark chocolate coffee beans, speckled sugared almonds, jewel green chocolate covered nuts and my favourite, praline coated caramelised almonds, all tightly packed into recycled glass jars.
Not to mention gorgeously packaged boxes of truffles… caramel… sea-salt… mmm.
