Wow, what a treat. One of my favourite vintage/recycled homeware stores Baileys Home and Garden, have opened an Art Cafe in their vast retail space that is Whitecross Farm.
Decked out with Bailey’s own vintage and industrial furniture and accessories, it’s like stepping into one of their homely, light filled catalogue pages.
Here you can browse an unusual mix of art objects and handmade ceramics, glassware and jewellery whilst sipping on a cup of coffee in the beautiful surroundings.
An added draw are their all day simple cold lunches made using locally sourced produce, such as Gorwydd Caerphilly cheese, salmon, and chicken from a Welsh smokery in the Black Mountains. Their savoury tarts are filled with seasonal ingredients and served with salad leaves from their own garden and other local organic growers – all topped off with delicious homemade cakes and cookies.
