The word ‘Mosaic’ in interiors really conjours up the worst possible images of garishly coloured, painfully cheery works of ‘art’ in the home. The art of Mosaics seemed to have been lost in translation, from the exquisite originals of history and foreign lands, to something quite different that you may find on a bad makeover programme.
However, I found nothing could be further from these atrocities, while browsing the Bisazza collection and picking up on a few new designs in their resume. The Italian brand Bisazza is one of the world leadesr in the production of luxury glass mosaics for the decoration of interiors and commercial use.
