Izz Cafe&Restaurant is a tapas restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey. Designed by Turkish architects Uğur Köse and Batu Palmer, the space is inspired by ocean currents. Located in a historic building, the renovation involved hiding mechanical elements and pipes behind a wooden shell, shaped to resemble waves.
After so many outrageous dining concepts out there, it’s nice to see a contemporary restaurant which is simple and graceful.
