A Victorian Christmas

victorian-christmas

Oh this sounds just splendid! This December from the 28th to the 31st, Kensington Palace, birthplace and childhood home of Queen Victoria, recreates a Victorian Christmas! In the lush surroundings of this majestic palace, you can learn more about festive costumes, pastimes and traditions, and food and drink from costumed staff.  Get creative and make your own Victorian Christmas cards, crackers and decorations to take home. Along the way, you will be able to participate in Christmas activities and make cards and crackers to take home and receive a special Christmas stocking.

Plus only for one day on the 31st December at 9am, you are invited to an exclusive guided tour of the empty palace prior to its daily opening!  Enjoy refreshments in the North Drawing Room, believed to be the birthplace of Queen Victoria! Then explore the historic State Apartments and learn about her childhood at Kensington Palace…

I do love the Victorians…

All events are included in general ticket prices. Book here.
