It makes me so happy when rural based shops embrace the internet and all its benefits of interaction. I have been a fan of online shop Re-Found for years and admittedly they have always had a great online experience and amazing imagery recreating the atmosphere of the store – but you always wonder where all the things that inspire you come from – and its great to see that the lifestyle you buy into is real!
In November 2003, RE was born to Simon Young & Jenny Vaughan in a small converted workshop at the back of a filling station in Corbridge, a small market town in north east England and was followed by their first mail order catalogue in May 2004. The shop carries a range of eclectic home products & accessories found from all over the world, American milk glass tableware, crab shaped cookie cutters and giant 3D cardboard letters to name but a few.
Anyway, I was delighted to find that Simon and Jenny have added a new section to their site where they give us a glimpse of their now thriving, colourful abundant shop in the heart of Northumberland.
