Everyday letters

L ove this idea by Daily Drop Cap which is an ongoing project by typographer and illustrator Jessica Hische. Each day a new hand-crafted decorative initial cap is be posted for enjoyment and for the beautification of blog posts everywhere. Such a great concept!

With each letter created Jessica supplies a simple html code that you place in front of the letter you want to replace. For example I replace my letter ‘L’ with the code and voila! It doesn’t work so well with mine, as my site is built to add a box around all images and this image doesn’t seem to fit too well – but you get the idea. Some beautiful type here…
