I’m always attracted to products which display natural elements – it makes sense to surround ourselves with imitations of nature since we spend so much of our time indoors. However never did I think I would fall so hard for products entitled ‘Mouldy Wall Art’… Elin is a fibre artist based in Bristol who creates one-of-a-kind artworks using materials such as hand-dyed antique linens and the finest mohair, crochet pieces and embroidery threads. These particular delicate pieces are sold attached to their vintage embroidery rings which act as a frame would, giving the pieces an old fashioned charm. With titles like ‘Milk Mould’ and “Grey Lichen’ these frilled, feminine, lace-like products show us that there truly is beauty in everything. See her Etsy shop for other crocheted accessories and her blog for works in progress.
