Welcome!

Hello all, I am so excited to welcome you to the new ‘The Beat That My Heart Skipped!’ I have been blogging for three years now and thought it was time to make a it a bit more official by blogging daily [i hope to get out at least 7-9 posts a day, if not more]. I’ve been working very hard the last few months with some exciting new content and amazing new contributors to the site who will be introducing themselves in their own way throughout the week.

I hope to fill your days with inspiration and bring you all the latest in British and European design and interiors. Sadly I doubt I will be able to keep up my existing blog but hope to keep the same style and sensibility that my regular readers admire and still give you an occasional peek into my life! This new blog contains all the posts from my old blog and you will find some appearing in my new sections on the left. Please excuse any link or image issues for the old content as there may be some irregularities in the cross over. Anyway – on to new horizons!

I will have a few regulars articles throughout the week amongst the usual product reviews and inspiration.

Mondays: Trends, Room Makeovers and ‘My Interior Life’ interview with a creative.

Tuesdays: ‘Notes from…’ feature [our first contributor Vanessa Morrish's regular travel musings]

Wednesdays: ‘Books To Read and Love’ [our second regular contributor Lauren Baines' amusing book reviews]

Thursdays: One that I’m most looking forward to ‘A Day With…’ feature chronicling a sneak peek into the day of a creative and what their work day consists of.

Fridays: ‘Good things to Eat’ recipes and foodie chat from our final new contributor Louise Gorrod, and my ‘3 Things’ impulse buys for the weekend.

And if that’s not enough every month I’ll be doing a round-up of useful things on the market – this month Tea and Coffee Cups [an essential for the cosy winter months] and the occasional nose into creative’s homes. If you’d like to submit any ideas or put yourself forward for any of my features please email me at rohini@thebeatthatmyheartskipped.co.uk

Lets get started!
