I discovered the Modern Pantry last year when I included it in a news feature. There was something about its airy and gentle decor of dove greys and whites that always stuck in my mind. Housed in a listed Georgian building in Clerkenwell, The Modern Pantry is comprised of a restaurant space as well as a shop/pantry. It’s a beautiful melding of the old and new…and I love it’s copper lightshades!

Yummies include, Danish beer waffles, with bacon and maple syrup and black bean and chocolate bruschetta, with honey roast quince for Brunch and Roast lamb chump marinated in cumin and preserved lemon, with chickpea and turmeric chips, green beans, and tahini garlic yoghurt for dinner!
