Yesterday I discovered an amazing blog belonging to a designer with a wonderful eye for colour, he calls it his ‘Colour Diary’. It’s like a regular blog, citing his inspirations and images of daily life, but he follows up each post with a colour pallette taken  from that post’s imagery. It is truly addictive reading and each scroll down entices you to indulge in more and more colour decadence!

I was itching to give it a go myself and below is my poor attempt with work by the talented Faye Toogood… It was really more difficult than it first seems, and you need to have so much depth in your own personal colour palette to see all the intricacies in the imagery. This is an art form in itself…
