NOTHING beats a cold winters day in Manhattan than a steaming soup dumpling or ten! In a bustling part of Chinatown sits a tiny eatery that has become famous for its delicious dumplings which come in two fillings pork and crab. These tender pouches, are freshly made to order, each plump dumpling contains a little pork or crab meatball surrounded by a gloriously tasty broth. The soup is actually injected inside the dumpling – a very unusual experience. Yum!
Joe Shanghai itself is constantly busy and bustling and serves an array of delicious and unique dishes – one that i really want to try this time is the scallion pancake.
